Shark's Ink.

BOOTH #209

Celebrating 41 years of printing and publishing.

Since 1976, when we began printing as Shark’s Lithography Ltd, through the last 40 years of publishing prints as Shark’s Ink, we have collaborated with a distinguished group of more than 160 artists from the United States and Europe.

The artists we invite to make prints at Sharks pursue a strong personal vision in their work. These relationships continue over many projects with artists returning regularly to collaborate on new prints. Many of the artists have produced large bodies of work over their years of collaborating with Shark’s.

The prints produced at Shark’s Ink are an eclectic group that use unusual and inventive printmaking techniques. Artists approach the process in many ways. Some arrive at the Shark’s studio with maquettes or drawings, others with a suitcase full of reference materials and some with an only an idea.

Our prints are included in numerous private and public collections including:

The Museum of Modern Art, NY
The Whitney Museum of American Art, NY
The Metropolitan Museum of Art, NY
Yale University Art Gallery, New Haven, CT
The New York Public Library, NY
The Library of Congress, Washington, DC

The Hirshhorn Museum, Smithsonian Institution, Washington, DC
